A Memory of Light
Picked up the final book in the beloved Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, finished by one of my favorite authors, Brandon Sanderson. Time to savor and shed tears on this book. Thank you for this legacy. This series ranks in my top five all time favorites.

It’s always surreal when you hear the news that you lost a good friend that for a few moments you refuse to believe what you just heard. It’s been a few hours and I still can’t believe the guy I was hanging out with, having drinks with, and enjoying life with two nights ago is now just a body in a morgue; the result of a fatal stabbing that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. I’ll really miss you man. Everyone who ever knew you will. Rest in peace bro. I bet you’re playing hoops with St. Peter now. Until we meet again
